My friend M lives in a very high building, on top of which there is a roof with a nice view. We sometimes sit there talking for hours and observing the world beneath us.
A couple of days ago we were sitting on that roof and I was crying. M’s boyfriend was asking me questions about HIM, and I told them both how I felt. They were the first people (except you, who read it) that I confessed my feelings to. But saying everything what was on my mind made me sad and I couldn’t hold back the tears.
They told me to just tell HIM and helped me to put a sensible message together. I sent it that very evening.
That was 2 days ago. Still no answer….
Today I feel like this song.

I’m sorry he hasn’t replied
I really hope that you get some kind of response from him for putting your heart on the line.

Thanks! I know that this might just be a bit overwhelming to him and maybe he needs to think about it. I do hope he will reply eventually…if not, I will really need to move on..

Yeah I agree, I have everything crossed for you that you get a positive response.
Or any response really! Sometimes there’s nothing worse than just silence.

Exactly. I prefer to get a negative response than no response at all.

Well You have done all YOU can do. Its now up to him. As a matter of courtesy and good manners he should respond in some way. If he doesn’t then you have your answer. If he doesn’t feel the same way or respond them may I suggest that you listen to these three songs Don Henley’s “The End of The Innocence” and ‘The Last Worthless Evening” and Jeff Buckleys “Last Goodbye” They helped me.

‘As a matter of courtesy’…yeah…he seemed to me like the guy had manners, but obviously he doesn’t know anything about women, and doesn’t care about other people’s feelings. I am not even sad, I am angry!
I like the old school sound to these songs. I will put them on my playlist!

They are fantastic. Three years today I was going through a really tough patch and a friend played me the Jeff Buckley song and it blew me away. The Don Henley ones are from the period that the Eagles were not speaking to each other. They spoke volumes to me when they were released and still resonate now. Take care.
